§ 15-1. Library advisory board—Created.

There is hereby created a library advisory board consisting of nine (9) members who shall serve as an advisory board under the terms hereof and shall make recommendations to the city council relative to rules, regulations and bylaws deemed necessary for the administration, government and protection of the libraries, reading rooms and properties belonging thereto; the necessity for the purchase of books and related library materials; the establishment of branch libraries and facilities; and the administration of gifts, bequests or legacies made to the city for library purposes.
