§ 18-17. Fires.

  • No person in any park shall:

    (1)

    Start or maintain any outdoor fire except for cooking fires which shall be started and maintained only in a stove, fireplace, barbecue pit, fire ring or in a portable camp stove.

    (2)

    Leave any fire started or maintained by such person unattended without first completely extinguishing the fire.

    (3)

    Gather fire wood for use on or removal from any park.

    (4)

    Burn any material that produces toxic fumes, including but not limited to, tires, plastic or treated wood products.

    (5)

    Carry onto or store gasoline and other fuels, except that which is contained in storage trucks of vehicles, vessels, camping equipment, or hand portable containers designed for such purpose.
