§ 24-24. Same—Violation to cause forfeiture of license of all machines owned by violator.
If any person who owns, operates, exhibits or displays any coin-operated machine in the city shall violate any provisions of this article, or any rule and regulation promulgated thereunder, the tax assessor-collector shall have the power and authority to cancel all licenses or permits issued to any of the foregoing persons by giving written notice stating the reasons justifying such forfeitures and the same shall be forfeited five (5) days from date of such notice. No new license or permits shall be issued within a period of one year to anyone whose license or permit has been forfeited, except at the discretion of the tax assessor-collector. If the license or permit of any person, owning, operating or displaying coin-operated machines in the city is forfeited, such person shall not operate, display or permit to be operated or displayed such machines until the license or permit is reinstated or until a new license or permit is granted.
