§ 2-8. Same—Number required to form a quorum.
With the exception of the zoning board of adjustment and appeals, a majority of the regular voting members of any board, commission or agency, or a majority of the regular voting members and such alternate members as are called upon to serve on such board, commission or agency for the specific meeting, shall constitute a quorum for such board, commission or agency. For the zoning board of adjustment and appeals, seven (7) members of the board must be present to hear cases before the board and to grant variances and special exceptions or to reverse an order, requirement, decision or determination of an administrative official.
