§ 6-3. State and federal regulations.

  • (a)

    Chapter cumulative of other regulations. The rules and regulations herein referenced are deemed to be cumulative of other laws and regulations related to the subject hereof and are not intended to amend, modify, supersede or interpret any provision of federal or state law or regulation.

    (b)

    Federal regulations. All aeronautical activities at the airport and the operation of aircraft departing from or arriving at the airport shall be conducted in conformity with the current provisions of the federal aviation regulations of the Federal Aviation Administration, which rules are hereby adopted by reference and made a part hereof. (Note: See Part 91 of the federal aviation regulations for explanation of circumstances justifying noncompliance with air traffic rules.) These rules are not intended to conflict with any federal aviation regulations published by the Federal Aviation Administration or any other federal agency which holds the aircraft operator directly responsible for compliance with such federal regulations. In the event of conflict, all such federal regulations shall take precedence over regulations contained herein.

    (c)

    Aircraft operators shall comply with movement instructions from tower personnel during that time when tower is in operation.

    (d)

    State regulations. All operations, activities, or conduct of persons of the airport shall be subject to any applicable law of the state.
