§ 7-25. Same—Nonliability.

  • Where action is taken by electrical inspectors to enforce the provisions of this article, such acts shall be done in the name of and on behalf of the city; and the inspectors in so acting for the city shall not render such inspectors personally liable for any damage which may accrue to persons or property as a result of any act committed in good faith in the discharge of such inspector's duties; and any suit brought against the inspectors by reason thereof shall be defended by the city attorney until final termination of the proceedings contained therein.
