§ 7-44. Transferability; display of certificate.

A person shall not lend, rent, or transfer their certificate of registration to any other person. It is unlawful for a person other than the chief electrical inspector or an electrical inspector to alter a certificate of registration in any manner. Every holder of a certificate as an electrical contractor shall display their certificate in a conspicuous place in their principal place of business. Every holder of a certificate as registered master, journeyman, or maintenance electrician shall carry their registration card or certificate on their person at all times while doing electrical work and shall produce and exhibit it when requested by an inspector or officer of the city.
