§ 30-10. Unlawful acts.

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to:

(1)

Establish, operate or carry on the business of distributing to any subscriber location in the city any television signals or radio signals by means of a cable system unless a franchise has first been obtained;

(2)

Construct, install or maintain within any public street or property in the city any equipment or facilities for distributing television signals or radio signals through a cable system unless a franchise authorizing use of the street or property or area has first been obtained;

(3)

Make any unauthorized connection with any part of a franchised cable system within the city for the purpose of receiving any television signal, radio signal, picture, program or sound, without making proper payment to the cable system owner; or

(4)

Intentionally tamper with, remove or injure any cables, wires or equipment used for distribution of television signals, radio signals, pictures, programs or sound.
